“After the Prophets (peace be upon them) the best person among human beings is Hazrat Siddiq Akbar” (may Allah be pleased with him), whom the Prophet (peace be upon him) wanted to make his Khalil was born on October 27, 573. He refrained from alcohol, gambling, and all kinds of denials even in the time of Jahiliyyah, about whom the just caliph Hazrat Umar Farooq (RA) said:

In the Qur’an, Siddiq Akbar (may Allah be pleased with him) is mentioned in Surah Al-Imran, Surah AlLayl, Surah Al-Tawbah, Surah Al-Zuumara, and Surah Al-Fatah, in which it is stated that Hazrat Abu Bakr said:

If the enemy sees our footsteps, they will recognize us. What do you think about the two who have a third God? The difference is that the commentators have written: They were concerned that the enemy would not harm you.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was once present on Mount Uhud with Siddiq Akbar, Umar Farooq, and Usman. When the mountain began to shake, he said:

Stop! There are prophets, saints, and martyrs on you.”

He (SAW) said also,

“I have repaid the favors of all the benefactors in the world, while Allah Almighty will repay the favors of Siddiq-e-Akbar.

At the time of his illness, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) commanded him to lead the Muslims in his prayers and said that

“Allah and the believers are not satisfied with the leadership of anyone other than Abu Bakr Siddiq”.

Hazrat Ayesha Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) once asked the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) if anyone has as many virtues as the stars of the sky. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

Yes, Of Syedna Omar Farooq. Umm, Al-Mu’minin became silent and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked: What was the meaning of your question? He replied,

“I thought that my father Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) had so many good deeds.”

He said, “Why are you sad?” So many good deeds of your father are only for three nights of migration.”

Bright Services of Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique

He was the first of the men to convert to Islam and at his invitation, Hazrat Uthman, Hazrat Abu Ubaidah, Hazrat Abdul Rahman bin Awf, and many other great Companions became followers of Islam. Trapped in the clutches of the enemies of Islam, the oppressed Muslim muezzin paid ransom to free the Muslim slaves from the captivity of the polytheists.

Generosity And Humility

Siddiq Akbar (may Allah be pleased with him) sacrificed his body and mind for Islam. Even on the occasion of the conquest of Tabuk, when the Prophet (peace be upon him) asked for donations from the Muslims, Siddiq Akbar (may Allah be pleased with him) offered all the household goods. He even offered his personal clothes in the service of the Holy Prophet SAW, while he himself came to the Holy Prophet (SAW) wearing sackcloth.

After the death of the Prophet, when he was elected caliph, many dangerous tribulations surrounded the Muslims. In the same way, the power of false claimants of prophethood (Musalma, Taleeha Asadi, and Sijah) also started getting stronger. The issue did not end there either, but he formed eleven armies to defeat the internal tribulations such as apostates, deniers of Zakat, and claimants of prophethood. On this occasion, the Companions asked for leniency and when he heard this he uttered a historical sentence:

“That is, let religion decrease and let me live.”

Death

He passed away in Madinah 22! Jamadi al-Akhri 23 August 634 AH 13 AH. I died, you were sixty-three years old at the time. He was buried inside the Holy Room in front of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
